Much Mistletoeing!!!

On Sephora.com, they came out with new Christmas sets!!!  There's a new lip shine foursome called "Much Mistletoeing"  that consists of:  Tinsel Town lip shine, Marshmallows for Roasting lip shine, Peppermint Bark lip shine, & Cinnamon Buns lip shine.  Tinsel Town has a fresh, crisp berry scent.  They also have Philosophy "Twinkle Berry"  shower gel and lotion, plus a new threesome of shower gels called "Fun in the Frosty Air"  That consists of:  Ginger Berry Frost shower gel, Sugar Plum Frost shower gel, & Fresh Vanilla Frost shower gel!  Then, there's a new duo of shower gel and lotion called Parties for Hosting by Philosophy and the scent is a playful, fresh Cherry Berry Crisp!  I am super giddy to see what new Christmas scents they come out with next!  Au Revoir!  ~~~~ GG

I Just Bought the Candy Corn lip shine!

Hello, it's me, and I just bought Philosophy's Candy Corn lip shine yesterday!  It's now available on Sephora.com, too, and I just had to snatch it up!  Also, I got new jeans from Hollister for the fall.  I got dark brown, dark olive, and navy with rolled-up cuffs.  Just thought I'd pop in to say hi, so see you next time, GG

Philosophy's Christmas Scents Are Just Around the Corner...

Philosophy's delicious Christmas scents are just around the corner because every year around October or late September, they start to bring out all the new flavors!  I am just sooo excited that there are going to be new lip shines!  I hope they use some of my ideas for Christmas lip shines such as Spicy Gumdrop and Chocolate covered Orange.  Perhaps a lip shine called Merry Milk Chocolate, maybe?  :)  Lol...  Anyway, that's all for right now.  You know you love me, ~~~Glossip Girl

Hey everyone!  Guess who ordered the Sugar Sprinkles Funnel Cake lip shine by Philosophy?  Moi!  Anyway, I am here to tell you all that Philosophy.com has new shower and bath gels that are coming soon.  They are Sugar Sprinkles Funnel Cake, Autumn Air (Tangerine Cider), & Harvest Spice (Pumpkin Orange).  Sounds yummy huh?  So, if you are looking for delicious fall scents to have this season, I suggest you head on over to Philosophy.com with just the click of a mouse!   

There's a New Lip Shine...

On Philosophy.com, there is a new fall lip shine called... "I Love Candy Corn"!  In the tube, there are the three colors of candy corn; orange-brown, yellow, and white!  It is totally cool and I bet it smells even better than it looks.  Now, also on Philosophy.com, they now sell my own idea, Sugar Sprinkles Funnel Cake.  It is not quite available yet, beacause it says coming soon, but I'm sure it will be there in the next day or so.  Anyway, I'm soooo excited there's another flavor I get to buy soon.  That's all for now, but be sure to check out my other posts soon.  You know you love me, ~~~GG

Two Lip Shines Have Arrived Today!

This afternoon, I received in the mail two new Philosophy lip shines that I had been blogging about earlier: Powdered Sugar Cookie and Eggnog Latte!  I will do a review about them now.  Powdered Sugar Cookie is totally yummy and smells like sugar cookies with a hint of lemon!  It's an fantastic scent.  Then comes Eggnog Latte, a delicious smell that transports you to drinking a cold glass of eggnog.  There is also a pinch of coffee flavor in the gloss, so overall it's actually one of my new favorites!  It kind of also smells like cinnamon...  Thanks for looking and be sure to keep your eye out for any flavors I review... ~~~GG

  

Philosophy I'm Dreaming...Review

Philosophy's I'm Dreaming Of.... shower gel trio is absolutely amazing.  It comes with I'm Dreaming of White Peach, White Cranberry, & White Pear shower gels.  My favorite is the White Cranberry.  Very light dusty pinkish-white, with many glittery sparkles.  It smells just like cranberry but maybe candied, or covered with sugar?  There's a touch of something else in each one, besides the fruit.  Next up is White Peach.  Delicious.  Peach-colored, and very sparkly.  Peachy, fresh, but also, Christmassy..... I don't know how, but it just does!  Last, White Pear.  It is my least favorite, but the color is a mint-ish, spring green, very light, with tons and tons of sparkles!!!  The scent is very good, but it is my least favorite since the peach and cranberry are hard to compete with.  Thanks for looking!  ~~~ GG

 

Philosophy Frosted Animal Cracker Review

Philosophy's Frosted Animal Cracker lip shine has a super yummy scent!  It is a creamy beige/ivory color, and the philosophy on the tube is "With Every Kiss Comes A Sweet Rush".  It smells like cookie batter and rich, creamy frosting!  It is a delicious treat for your lips, while providing smooth hydration and conditioning your lips.  My vote on this gloss?  Buy it.  ~ GG :)

Philosophy Papaya And Hawaiian Review

I am going to review Philosophy's Papaya Passion Punch and Blue Hawaiian lip shines!  Okay, so, the Blue Hawaiian is certainly my absolute FAVORITE out of these two.  The color is clear with iridescent blue shimmer/sparkle!  It smells like a mixture of grapefruit, pineapple, and yummy goodness.  It's tart smelling and fresh at the same time and the scent makes you want to eat it all up!  The Papaya Passion Punch is bright coral-ish orange and smells like a fresh papaya.  I'm not sure what one tastes like, but I know the gloss is to die for!  The colors of these lip shines are beautiful and the scents are enchanting.  Whoever loves papaya or grapefruit should buy these glosses.  (Especially Blue Hawaiian ;-)  )  Happy glossing  -  GG

Philosophy Raspberry Sorbet Lip Gloss Review

I received a request about Philosophy's Raspberry Sorbet lip shine!  And right now, I shall review it!  The Raspberry Sorbet gloss is a little sticky, but otherwise delicious!  The scent is light and very berry-ish, and the color is a pinkish-magenta with lots of sparkle!  Anyway, this one is also pretty good, so if you like raspberries then go for it!

Sigerson Morrison Shoes Are Amazing

Sigerson Morrison shoes are pretty amazing, but there's this one pair of metallic leather gladiator sandals that really made me look twice.  (I tried to include a picture here but it wouldn't let me :( )  The price used to be $465.00 and now, on sale, they are $139.00.  When I'm a famous fashion designer, I will be able to buy and afford as many of these shoes as I can!!!  (That's my dream, to be a designer )  Right now my allowance is NOT enough for me to buy this pair of shoes! ;) Ughhhh!  Hehe. 

Philosophy Soda Fountain Lip Trio Review

What's up?  It's moi, GG and today I will tell you all about The Soda Fountain lip trio by Philosophy.  The flavors include:  Fruit Punch, Not the Pits Cherry Cola, & Barrels of Root Beer. First, Fruit Punch; it has a hint of cherry, pineapple and apple juice, and my mom thinks it smells like Sweet Tarts!  Next:  Cherry Cola.  This lip shine is particularly yummy smelling since it smells like genuine cherry cola with the cherry syrup.  Smells just like it.  Finally, Root Beer, my fave.  I just have to say... It is REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD!  This gloss smells EXACTLY like a root beer float and everyone should have this set, or at least the root beer gloss.  Anyway, that's all for this post.  Until next time.... Red Velvet Cake Lip Shine Review

Hey!  Today, I will be reviewing Philosophy's Red Velvet Cake lip shine.  The Red Velvet gloss smells really rich and chocolatey, plus a hint of cream cheese frosting.  It smells delicious and you should definitely buy it:  you can probably get it on eBay.com.  This lip shine is one of my faves; you can't just have one favorite!  There are very many that I own that I love.  I received the Red Velvet gloss for Christmas 2010, and fell instantly in love with Philosophy shines because I had never even heard of them before Christmas 2010.  They just smell so real and yummy that I can't imagine who could possibly dislike the brand.  That's all for now, but be sure to check for my next post, where we will be reviewing Philosophy's Soda Fountain lip shine trio.     Happy Glossing

Don't they sound divine?  I think my favorite will possibly be Powdered Sugar Cookie!  Then, Chocolate Covered Cherry.  What about you?  Do you think their delicious-sounding names will smell as good as I expect?  I will keep you posted. 

They Used My Own Idea!

Hey everybody!  Guess What???!!!  I went to check on Sephora.com for new flavors of lip shine.... and!  They made 2 new ones and one of them is one of the ideas I sent a letter to them with suggestions!!!  It's called Sugar Sprinkles Funnel Cake.  And the other flavor is part of the Trick or Treat duo, and is Crispy Marshmallow Bars!  I am beside myself with excitement because they never usually put new ones out for a while.  Here's a link .  (Click on link)  Also, here is a picture:

These are my Top 6 Favorite Philosophy lip shines... Holiday Angel ( Angel Food Cake), Apricots and Cream, Senorita Margarita (Limey), Blue Hawaiian (Grapefruit-ish), White Pear, & Candy Cane.  Anyway, did you know that in the book series "The Clique" by Lisi Harrison, the main character orders this lip gloss that arrives on her doorstep every morning?  It's called Glossip Girl, where I get my name from, and the flavors are very similar to Philosophy's glosses.  Hmmmm...... Shady.

Retired Philosophy Lip Shine Flavors

All these flavors must smell AMAZING and I really wish Philosophy would please bring back all retired flavors, including Frozen Lemon Custard and the Lip Gelato set, which consists of Grapefruit Gelato, Pomegranate Gelato, and Tangerine Gelato.  Currently, they sell Blue Hawaiian, which is definitely one of my faves, as well as Fresh Peaches with Cream.  The Blue Hawaiian smells a lot like grapefruit, lemon, and a hint of pineapple.  It's DELISH!!  The Peaches with Cream obviously smells like a fresh picked peach.  Philosophy never fails to create a scent that smells like a real fruit or baked good.  I hope they continue to conjure up more and more delicious scents!

You'll Never Guess...

It's me, GG, and you'll never guess what happened to me in late May, 2010!  When I opened my front door, there sitting was a huge, heavy package.  I opened it and inside was..... Hundreds of dollars of Philosophy products!  I had written the company a letter explaining how j'adore their products.  Anyway, that was probably one of the best days in my life!  I love everything about their things ( especially the lip shines), and that was definately a dream come true.
